Литературному агенту Дэвиду Ламонту предложили хорошую работу из-за которой он переежает в фешенебельную квартиру, распологающуюся под крышой одного из небоскребов Нью-Йорка. После переезда в новую квартиру ему стали приходить пакеты с фотографиями на которых показаны зверские убийства, происходявшие в его новой квартире, а потом касеты с записью, когда он находился дома. Начав собственное раследование, Дэвид даже не предпологал какие страшные тайны откроются для него...
